You are invited to a guided tour of Boris Vitázek installation INFINITE COUNTDOWN, taking place as part of the opening weekend of Trenčín 2026!

Infinite Countdown is an installation exploring the phenomenon of “AI psychosis”—the growing spectrum of illusions, anxieties, and messianic ideas associated with chatbots and artificial intelligence.

The installation examines AI not as a technology, but as a psychological event: a collective hallucination in which vulnerable individuals merely reflect the instability of society as a whole, projecting fears, desires, and ambitions onto their own machines.

The activities of FOR MAAT gallery are supported by public funding from the Slovak Arts Council, the main partner of the project. FOR MAAT gallery is also a partner of Trenčín 2026, which is financially supported by the City of Trenčín, the Trenčín Self-Governing Region, and the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic. The project is additionally supported by the European Union.
