The Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Brussels is pleased to invite you to the opening of FOR MAAT BRUSSELS 2026, a collective exhibition featuring artists associated with FOR MAAT a Trenčín-based platform focused on contemporary visual art and its presentation through FOR MAAT Gallery.

The event will take place on 8 October 2026 at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Brussels, Molière Avenue 195, 1050 Brussels. Doors will open at 18:00, while the official opening of the exhibition will begin at 18:30.

The exhibition offers Belgian, international and Slovak audiences a unique opportunity to discover contemporary visual art from Trenčín, European Capital of Culture 2026. The project serves as a
bridge between contemporary artistic production and international cultural exchange, bringing the spirit of Trenčín 2026 to Brussels.
The opening evening will feature an introduction to the exhibition, presentations of the participating artists, and an opportunity for informal networking among representatives of the
cultural sector, the diplomatic community and the wider international community in Brussels.
The exhibition will remain open to visitors until 15 November 2026.
