Jana Gombiková's exhibition at Paradajs Photofest 2025

"When I was growing up, mental health wasn’t a topic. If you said you weren’t feeling well, they told you to exercise or go dig potatoes."

"I have no reason to be ashamed of it. I’m a human being; we all have our limits. If people started to better understand that the world isn’t black and white, there would be much less judgment and hate. Understanding is simply a scarce commodity."

Disorder is a series of portraits of people with mental health conditions, complemented by interviews.
