FAMILY IDYLL, 2019, frame from animated film
Andrej Danóczi (1973, Trenčín). His work can be divided into three main areas: film, music, and photography. In contrast to his music, which is characterized by genre diversity, his films focus on the poetics of surrealism. In photography, urban landscape and its transformations predominate.
Family Idyll is a still from the ninth part of a series of interconnected surrealist animated films, created using the technique of animated collage, collectively titled “ETC.”
The Street Gallery FOR MAAT Brussels is realized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Brussels, the Trenčín-based platform FOR MAAT, and Trenčín 2026 – European Capital of Culture.
