FOR MAAT Brussels – Pavla Pádivá

Pavla Pádivá is an essentialist painter and an intuitive colorist. She graduated from the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica and from the Graphics Studio at University of Ostrava. She works with watercolor and acrylic techniques on canvas and wood. Her work focuses on evocative natural scenery — wild, mysterious, and untamed landscapes untouched by human presence. Through color, she effortlessly creates large-format luminous impressions of elusive spaces, abstract nature, and fleeting glimpses of the landscape.

The Street Gallery FOR MAAT Brussels is realized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Brussels, the Trenčín-based platform FOR MAAT, and Trenčín 2026 – European Capital of Culture.
